Whats In My Makeup Bag?

Hi! So the weather's still lovely and sunny here and I hope it lasts until next weekend! It's rubbish being stuck in a classroom when you know theres a park minutes away...

So today I'm doing whats in my makeup bag because I just felt like doing it today. I'm not the sort of person who tends to spend loads of money on makeup because I much prefer my fashion and jewellery. I do like to look nice though and I do own makeup. It just comes from more of the cheaper brands. I hope you like it!

My make-up bag is from Cath Kidston and I love it. The print is gorgeous and spring like and the material of it is oil-cloth so if I get something on it it wipes straight off. I'm not sure how much it was as it was a gift so if your interested in it check out the CK website (they probably won't have the same print as mine in stock now).

  1. MUA Blusher in Shade 4: At the time when I bought this I was needing a new blusher, I was in Superdrug and picked this up for a pound. It's ok but nothing special. I also have to be very careful applying this just incase I end up looking like a china doll!
  2. Collection 2000 Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream in Fairy Cake: This again wasn't very expensive but after seeing this in one of Fashion Rocks my Socks' old videos I really wanted it! I love the colour and texture and also the taste! This product wins the award for nicest tasting lip product! I don't know why but I didn't like the way it looked at first. Then one day I put it on and I just loved it!
  3. Pixi Vitamin Lip Silk in Flora: You may of heard of Pixi makeup if you watched Sprinkle Of Glitter's video on the brand. My mum bought me this for Christmas 2011 because the shade was called Flora (my actual name if you're wondering). If you watch Sprinkle Of Glitter's vid you'll find out all about the fab brand.
  4. Body Shop Born Lippy Lip Balm in Pink Guava: Not much to say about this. It was a gift and I keep it in my makeup bag!
  5. Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye liner in 061 Jet Black: I was given this for my birthday and I put it in my makeup bag but I haven't used it yet.
  6. Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner Definer in 024 Red Diva: I use this with my red lipstick which funny enough isn't in my makeup bag. Hope I haven't lost it...
  7. Benefit Sample of Benetint: I got this in my mums Glamour mag in the summer and I use it most days on my lips and cheeks. Really good product but for the lips you need to apply quite a bit!
  8. Softlips Vitamin Enriched Lip Conditioner: Can't remember how this got itself into my makeup bag but it's probably ready for the bin now. Will be sad to see it go.
  9. NYC High Definition Volumizing Mascara: Bought this mascara a while ago as it was only £4. I seriously don't recommend this though. I found it very clumpy and not very volumizing!
  10. Miss Sporty Studio Lash Eyeliner in 001 Extra Black: I use this eyeliner every single day to do my winged eyeliner and it's an ok product, it's the only one I've ever used. It has a tendency to smudge so when it runs out I'm going to buy a Loreal Paris eyeliner as they have been talked about quite a lot on Youtube by Beauty Gurus!
  11. Natural Collection Concealer in Fair: Again I bought this because it was cheap but I really need to buy a new one along with a foundation of good quality, any ideas?
  12. Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Pink Mallow: This lovely lipstick featured in my last OOTD. I love this so much and is great value for money as it was only £1!
So that is all the contents of my makeup bag. I hope you enjoyed and it gave you a look at some products and what I think of them. Please Follow and comment if you liked! xx

So I thought I'd give you all a bit of an update of whats been going on in the life of me. I'm so looking forward to the school holidays now even thought I probably won't be going anywhere. This week wher I live has had a blast of hot weather. It's been so good being to sit outside android have lunch and if you get a class outside. Today was another scorcher so I sat outside in my shorts and tried to be a bit of a tan- not very successful! while reading a magazine with an ice-cream float thinking this is the life! Now I can't wait to be off!

Tomorrow I'm out of school because it's our yearly trip. We're off to a theme park which should be good as it's so nice outside. You'll probably find me on the spinning cups or water rides though, I'm not good on loop de loops!

Tonight I've got lots of homework to catch up on. Will probs be doing it outside! Hope this weather stays all through the summer or at least lasts for he weekend!

OOTD- Off for some birthday cake!

In May so many people I know have their birthdays, including me! (will do a post about it soon) Last night was my uncle's so I went round to his house to celebrate. I wore a couple of pieces that I bought with birthday money when I was in town at the weekend. Hope you enjoy!

Blouse: Newlook// Necklace: New Look// Lipstick: Boots Natural Collection "Pink Mallow"// Wedges : TK Max

I love the print on my new blouse as well as the peter pan collar, I think it will be perfect for Spring and Summer. I bought it from New Look to replace a playsuit my Gran had bought me that was sadly the wrong size. When I went to my local NL I couldn't find the play suit but I did find the lovely blouse along with the cute hot-air balloon necklace. I've always loved hot-air balloons!

I also picked a new Lipstick from the natural collection called Pink Mallow. I've had it on twice now and I must say it goes onto the lips as a totally different colour! I had looks like a bubblegum pink on the lips which I unusually still quite like! (I'm not the biggest fan of really pinky pinks) It's very moisturising and I think it lasted reasonably well.

These wedges I've had since last Summer when I bought them in TK Max. I really like them because they look really nice without having a massive heel, which means I can walk in them! They are by a brand by Rocketdog.

My Top 10 Nicest Smelling Lush Products

Lush is a company that make cosmetics. All their products are handmade, they make things like soaps, shower gels, shampoos and hair conditioners, bath bombs, bubble bars, hand and body lotions and face masks

I love Lush, I love watching the bath bombs fizz when you plop them in the bath, I love how they're products are fresh and handmade, I love how the staff in Lush shops are always so friendly and I love how they put little stickers on the products saying who made that product. It assures me that what I'm getting is fresh and handmade.I also love how each product has a different smell. So today I'm going to list what in my opinion are the top 10 nicest smelling Lush products.

These aren't in any sort of order because when I went into my local Lush shop I was going about smelling the lovely things and then writing down the names of them, I must've looked like a right looney! So I couldn't really rank them based on memory but they all smell lovely. Also, I'm rubbish at describing smells so I'm not going to attempt it. You'll just have to pop into your local Lush and smell for yourself!

Lush have a campaign going just now fighting animal testing which is something I really want to help stop. I hope you do to. Click the words animal testing to sign the petition.

Love Potion Bath Melt // The Washing-up Fairy (made for Mumsy's day) // Big Blue Bath Bomb //Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb //Honey I Washed The Kid's Soap //Honey Bee Bath Bomb (I love honey smells) // Karma Bubble Bar // Rose Queen Bath Bomb // Rockstar Soap // Space Girl Bath Bomb (I actually have this and the glitter goes everywhere but it smells nice!)  // Twilight Bath Bomb( If you watch the vid on the Lush Website when you plop it in the bath it goes blue and pink, looks fab)

Spring is here! Summer fast approaching...

It's so unbelievable! We're in May now and I think spring has sprung. Was walking home from school and the blossom tree I walk past was covered in pink petals, it looked so beautiful so I couldn't resist taking some snaps- they actually turned out quite good!
I'm now counting down the days until summer. I can't wait for days when it's sunny and you can stay out till all hours and the sun is still shining. Days filled with ice-cream floats, bright blue skies and bbq's in the garden. I've seen loads of lovely summer dresses all over the place and whenever I see something I like I plan outfits in my head and then I wish I could buy all the summery things in that shop. I've seen nice things in all the shops but River I. has had some nice things and with the Mid-season sales it's even better!
I hope all of you lovelies who read my blog are well. I'd love someone to comment as it lets me know that there are people interested in what I write. I have a couple of post ideas but I'd happily take any suggestions you may have. I want to write about things that you enjoy and ok, to be kind of honest I am struggling with post ideas! Today I just looked through photos on my camera and tried to think of posts to write around them. I'm just saying that if there are people on the interweb reading this- your input would be fab! x
