Fall/ Autumn Staples

Hi so first of all sorry for not having a post up in ages, I've been really busy!

In this post I'm going to tell you some of my Fall/Autumn staples but sadly I can't get any pictures to go into this post so there wont be any but I'm going to tell you where you can pick up some of the pieces mentioned.

1. A stripy shirt: I've got my eye on a johnnieb stripy shirt, the one I like comes in blue and white or red and white. I think they are quite different but simple at the same time.
2. Skinny chords: The fabric is really nice and they just remind me of Autumn/Fall! Wear with a stripy or floral top and some ankle boots for a preppy look.
3. Brogues: So stylish, on trend and super chic. I got mine from Office.
4. Parkas: An army green coat with fur lining. They are really on trend and they keep you cosy on long autumn walks! Look in Topshop for the perfect parka!

For accessories, I would keep it simple and wear a scarf with a plain T-shirt. When styling your scarf DON'T do the fancy loop thing because it looks so big and bulky with your outfit, DO wrap it tightly around your neck and leave it hanging, it looks much more trendy and chic!

My Skincare Routine

In this post I'm going to talk about my skincare routine. To get my skin soft and clean I use Amie skincare products. I use Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash, New Leaf Skin Exfoliating Polish & Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser. They smell amazing and make my skin so soft! So on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday Morning and Night I use Morning Clear followed by Morning Dew. Then on Wednesday and Friday mornings and nights I use New Leaf followed by Morning Dew. It works a treat!

Paul's Boutique!

Do you guys like Paul's Boutique? At school everyone has them and I like a couple of the styles of bags and I really liked their Barbie collection! I like the Paul's Boutique bags but not so

much the clothes! I would really like one for Christmas or if I save up the money! These are some of the bags I like!

My new Barry M polishes

Hiya! Sorry I haven't done a post in a while, I've just started back at school!

I just wanted to tell you about my new BarryM polishes! I got them on Saturday after my friend kindly bought them for me, thankyou Erin! So the 2 colours are Peach Melba and Blue Moon I love both of them and here is are a few pics of them! But just to say if you ever buy a BarryM nail polish always put on a base coat or it might stain your nails.

Wear what you want to wear!

Be confident and wear what you want to wear despite what others may think! I love fashion and I say, if you want to wear something then wear it!! If you have confidence then you are gonna look great! An Update on Me!

Hi it's been a while since I did an update but I just thought I should tell you what I've been up to!

Well obviously I'm on my summer holidays right now and I go back next week so I'm quite nervous as I'm going to a different school! I'm sure it'll be great because all my teachers seem nice! I'm trying to think of what I've been doing this past week but on Monday I was swimming with friends, Tuesday I was away to an arts festival with my aunties and my mum, and then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday it was raining so I was stuck in the house but yesterday I made fairy cakes with my little brother and we iced them! They actually tasted quite good! Anyway, I wanted to tell you about this website called boutiques.com and you can create your own boutique on it and it's really fun! Head Scarfs

I love wearing Head scarfs, whether you have your hair in a bun or down there are lots of funky ways to tie scarfs in and in vintage or charity shops you can get really nice headscarfs for even £3!

Emma Watson is Style Savvy!

So as everyone is going Harry Potter ma

d right now, we've been seeing lots of one of it's stars, Emma Watson. I personally love Emma's style! So I just thought I would show you some of my favourite looks from her.

Emma looks summery in this outfit, I just love that pixie crop! In this look that Emma designed herself for People Tree (a brand I love) the tee goes nicely with the simple shorts! I would so buy this!

I really love that dress, stripes suit emma and the way she accessorises with the chunky scarf, really pulls the outfit together. I'm also gonna be heading out for a blazer like hers sometime soon! Well Done Emma!

This has to be my favourite dress in the WHOLE world! I just love everything about it, Emma has styled it perfectly and I just can't tell you how much I love this dress!! I found out that it was Burberry and sadly it's a little bit out of my price range but I would love to own it! I think in this dress she looks like the best dressed celeb ever! I also love the hair!

Sales!

First off I just want to say sorry for not doing a post! I will try to do them more regularly! Now onto what this post is all about, SALES! The best part of going shopping! So right now it's summer and of course that means summer sales! Is there a really expensive brand or shop that you like but could never afford to shop in? Well you should head down to one of their shops and see if they have a sale, you may find a great bargain, over this summer I know I have! Here are my top 2 tips for a great sale shop!

• Tip 1 for sale shopping- Check everything! You will need to have a good look and rake if you have any hope in finding something!
• Tip 2- Try stuff on, you need to be prepared to try what you like on! Remember, if you buy something in a sale you might not be able to take it back!

Festival Fashion

Summers here and it's music festival time!! Yay! I'm not going to any but if you are here are some tips on what to wear! It's practical but still stylish! If you're not going to a festival these can just be for when you're on holiday, enjoy!

I would mention nail polish but for that look at my BarryM post for some great nail polish colours!

Right, for me the perfect outfit for a festival would be a pair of printed shorts, a graphic tee and some funky wellies (a festival must have!) It will get cold so wear a checked shirt over your tee instead of a cardi! hoodies would work too! For bags don't bring a massive tote! A little across the body bag would be perfect! I bet if you went into primark you'd find one!

Accessorise with some headwear, dolly bows can be worn when your hair is up or down and also the headbands with flowers stuck on would look nice with wavy hair.

Keep your makeup natural, just conceal your red areas, put on some bronzer and some lip balm for the girl next door look!

BarryM Polishes

I like to make a statement and stand out and if you like to as well one way is to paint your nails! BarryM is one of my favourites for nail polishes and I think you will like these colours no matter what your style is so...

Funky gals should go for bright coloured or crackle polishes! I'd suggest Pink Flamingo by BarryM which is a nice bright pink or Acid Yellow.

Girly girls should have a look at all Barry M's pink colours. I like Strawberry Ice-cream.

If you're a simple girl like me pick colours like Peach Melba, Berry Ice-cream or Mushroom.

Goth like girls should try darker shades like Dusky Mauve, Navy or Indigo.

Up all night!!!

Firstly, let me just say Harry Potter was AMAZING, TREMENDOUS, STUPENDOUS, EXITING, SCARY, FUNNY, SAD, FANTASTIC, SURPRISING!!! I loved loved loved it!!! I would give it 5 out of 5 stars!!! Then my friend Erin stayed over and we watched more films till ten to 3 and we did try to get to sleep but then we just got up and didn't go back to sleep and I also forgot that today is Saturday!! Yaaayyyy! But I have had no sleep since Friday morning and I feel GREAT! Anyway I am going to put up a different post later today!!! By the way I ended up wearing my new wedges to the cinema!!!

What I'm Wearing Tonight!

So tonight I'm off to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!! With my friend Erin who's here from Beijing for her holidays! So I'm going to tell you what I'm wearing to the cinema tonight! It's quite casual but really stylish at the same time!

This is my sleeveless shirt from Topshop that I talked about in my Summer Staples post and I've got it on with my brown kind of harem trousers from last years Zara. As always I've still got on my ice watch (it goes quite well with my shirt doesn't it?) and my charm bracelet! For shoes I think it will be my red sandals that I wore to my prom or my converse! If I had those brogues though! I would wear them!! Instead!!

Beach Essentials

Hi I have decided that I'm only going to do 1 post a day so that you can really look at them, I really want you to read them. Anyway, in this post I'm going to be talking about the essentials you need for the beach. (These only really apply if it's a sunny day!)

A towel- Pick one with a funky design, I love the Cath Kidston ones!

A bikini/swim suit- You definitely need one if your going on holiday or to your local pool! If you want to splurge, head for Hollister but if you want to save go for one from Primark!

Shades- Aviators were last summer now go for the Ozzy Osbourne glasses! So chic!

Beach Bag- Of course you need one to carry

your towel, phone, money etc in. I got a simple bag from Jack Wills a while ago and I would definitely use it at the beach!

iPod- When your not in the water or having ice-creams or chatting you should have an iPod for when you're just relaxing in the sun!!

Hi Please have a look at my older posts because I really want people to see them! I thin k it was a bit stupid to upload about 10 a day because then you can't see the older ones! I think Ill stick to 1 or 2 a day!

My Favourite Polishes

In this video post I have showed my 9 favourite nail polishes (even though on the notepad it says nail polish collection!) So the 1st polish I show is Absolutely Alice by OPI and it is a blue sparkly polish. The next are my 2 Rimmel London polishes, Tangerine Queen and Pulsating. After them I show my MUA (make up academy) clear polish, a great base and top coat for my nails. Next is my BarryM crackle polish which is the newest out of my polishes and is great on top of yellow. Then my Miss Sporty "Clubbing Colours" Pink/Coral polish. Now one of my favourite favourite polishes, 17 fast finish polish in Pink Lemonade( it has gone a bit sticky so I need to buy a new one!). Now finally my 2 Essie polishes, the dark pink is called Status Symbol and the lighter shade (my favourite out of the whole bunch) is in Flawless! Hope you like the vid so please comment and Follow! Perfect Picnic!!

In the summer a picnic is one of the best things to do with your friends, me and all my best friends are waiting for a sunny day to have one!! So I am going to tell you some yummy things to pack in your basket and what songs to play out on your iPod! So lets start with the food and drinks...

• Smoothies- Quick and Easy, you just need to buy one pack of strawberries and cut and put them in along with banana, natural yogurt, honey and orange juice and turn it on! Then pour into a flask and thats your drinks done!
• Mini french rolls- You can buy a big bag of them at your local supermarket and you can also just buy fillings like, cheese, ham and chicken! Sandwiches done!
• Also pack things like, carrot sticks, little muffins or cupcakes, strawberries, and marshmallows!!

Now, if one of you has an iPod touch, you can have the songs on your ipod playing out so heres what I'd recommend music wise...

• Eliza Doolittle- her tunes are so nice and summery!
• Take That- Just because I love them!
• Katy Perry- Last Friday Night and Teenage Dream are both really catchy songs that your pals will want to sing along with!
• Wonderland-For those of you who are into girl bands try Wonderland! Listen to their self titled album and you won't listen to anything else for a week!!

Songs that Should get a mention

So of course we all listen to the charts and we do love the songs but there are so many other artists that are not right at the top that should be mentioned so here we go.

Goldfrapp- This duo formed in 1999 and have had some great tunes! Such as "Rocket" and "A&E".

Phoenix- A French band that my dad liked! Even though they are very recent! Their song "Liztomania" is so good and catchy!! Ill let you listen to it in a video!

The Yeah Yeah Yeas- So we all remember Glee's "Thriller/ Heads Will Roll" but we never realised who sang Head will roll, well it seemed like I was the only one out of my friends!

Paramore- This group are the most popular out of the 4 I've listed but they are still not in the charts right now! Do you remember Bob's song "Aeroplanes"? well the girl Haley Williams that was featured in it was the lead singer of Paramore!

Summer Staples

Hi! Summers here so in this post I wanted to give you a few key items for your summer wardrobe I hope you like! Leave a comment and of course follow and do the polls.

Printed Shorts- You can have floral prints or Aztec prints or even just spots and stripes! but shorts are a must have for the summer!! I love these gingham ones from Johnnieb!

Cropped Sleeveless Shirts- I love these! I recently bought this one from Topshop and it's full length but you can totally just not button it all the way down and tie up the ends to make it cropped!

Maxi Skirts- So we've all heard of Maxi Dresses but the skirts are so elegant and I love to get one in black or a brighter colour!! They will keep you so cool and they would flatter most people (just maybe not for the smaller girls, instead try a denim or leather mini skirt for a vintage look! I like this one from ASOS!

Wedges or Wooden Platformed Shoes- I only have one pair and they aren't that high but I really like the big chunky ones that you can get from Topshop! They are quite pricey but great for summer though!! I love these wooden platforms from Topshop!

So I hope you found this helpful and don't forget to accessorise with leather bands that you can buy in jack wills (for a vintage look) or some nice stud earrings.

Crackle nail polish over yellow or a bright colour is also on trend now! The BarryM crackle is great!

Things To Do in Your Summer Holidays

So say your on your summer holidays and you want to make the most of your time off, well that's what I want do do!! But say you don't know what to do... Well look no further! Flo has some great ideas

for a great summer!!!

• Shopping Spree- Not food shopping (obvs!) I mean getting your pals together and planning a shopping trip! And If you're skint, it's fun to just have a look around the shops instead of actually buyinganything and heresthe great thing... if you go up in summer all the sales will be on woohooo!!

• Sleepovers- I think it's the obvious thing to do with your friends!! You can stay up late, do makeovers, watch films and chat!!! By the way these are mostly going to be things to do if you're a girly girl (kind of like me!)

• Picnics- When it's a sunny day you should plan a picnic!! It can be with your family or your friends and in a park or your back garden!! You can also bring things to do like roundersor tennis!

• Trip to the seaside- Another idea if the weathers good!!! Get your friends together and get your mum to drive you to the beach!! You can go paddling, have a picnic or spend your time looking in all the little seaside shops! And also, you can get ice creams at the end!!!

Summer Hols

Even though I am aware that nobody goes on this blog I am still going to write a new post. I'm on my Summer holidays and so far I've been camping and I've seen my friend Erin who lives in Beijing but she is back for the holidays. I want to have her over for a sleepover, I'm Booooorrrrreeeeeddddd, really boooooorrrrrrreeeeedddddd!!!!! I think I'm going to make tea.
